Hi I'm a US citizen and have around 15k or less credit card debt. All government loans were paid off. Something happened three and a half years ago in my home town and I had to leave Washington state and took care of it. So my question is: it's has been 3 and a half year and I'm heading back to washington state for short visit.
1. I'm sure the debt did gall into collection agency. Will it go to court?
2. Since I had been gone since 2007 and will there be a warrant on me since I didn't appear to court (if there was one)
3. I will be entering Vancouver bc airport then to Seattle by driving. I'm afraid I will get caught for warrant at the border.
Hopefully someone can answer my questions and thanks for the help in advance.

USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. No. You must already have 485 pending, or you should be applying 765 along with your 485 concurrently. However to apply for 485, your PD must be current.
I got my labor and 140 cleared few months back under EB3, Can I apply for 765 to get my EAD ?
I have not applied for 485.
Please let me know.

Once you start working as a trainer, you have violated H-1B status so that you must rely on the EAD for both the gym job and the Systems Analyst position. You must also use Advance Parole, not the H-1B visa, to return after travel.

This is purely my opinion and may not be the best legal advice. If I were in the same situation, I would go by the EB type (EB2 first) and then by the priority dates. Whichever one is higher, I would apply both in that classification. If both I-140's are EB3 and same priority dates, I would go with the one with better job security (stable employer and job) and keep the other I-140 as backup. In this day and age of corporate acquisitions, mergers and bankruptcies and USCIS backlogs, you want to use the option with the least risk.

Need advice ...I am currently on H1 B.
six years back (on F-1) I started working 2 business days prior to my CPT started.... Unfortunately ... that meant I did work unauthorized for a couple of days. Now I am at a stage where I need to use CPT experience to apply for PERM. Would stating the actual start date on form 9089 (which happens to be 2 days prior to actual CPT start date listed on I 20) pose any future issues?
CAn I be granted lineancy (something like 245K) if in in future this lapse becomes evident to U S C I S. How seriously would this minor violation be treated?

What a piece of work from the man who warned us about death panels in the health care bill. His grasp of the facts don't seem to be much better when it comes to USCIS' enforcement of H-1B rules. From this letter, you would think USCIS is sitting around eating bon bons and not engaged in one of the most serious crackdowns in the H-1B program in decades. hello! i overstayed my visa by several years, left , and was able to get a new tourist visa and enter the u.s.
after leaving the u.s, on return,i was denied enterance, removed and banned for 5 years. my boyfriend lives in u.s, he's a citizen. is a fiance visa helpful to allow me in until we get married? is there even a chance? or do we need to marry outside of the u.s in this case? thank you!
