Hello All,
I need some advice here. Actually I have filed two labors.
Company -A - EB3 - PD of March 2003
Company -B - EB2 - PD of March 2006 (PERM)
I got my Labor, I -140 from company B, and applied for 485 recently (July-2nd).
Recently (Last week) I got the labor approved from Company A (as it went to Backlog).
I was thinking that If I get I-140 from Company A then, My layer wants to use that Priority date in already filed 485 case.
But to get the I-140 from the Company B, I may have to spend around 3k, so just thinking if it is worth doing or not.
Any suggestions?

Just came across this map, while booking my hotel.

Its really Cool Map. Just type in Washington Monument or Whitehouse as your destination point and click Go. Now your destination is selected. Now un-check (or check) and then check each hotel listed on left, one by one. You will know how far is your hotel located from Monument or Whitehouse. Is it not cool?

I have a valid H1B visa stamp from company A. Now if I transfer my h1B to company B, and decide to travel outside US, do I need to go to the consulate and get a new visa stamp ?

Has anyone who filed in June and at NSC recieved any approvals for EAD/AP ?

I-140 processing date isn't country specific, but make sure check the date for the center you have applied to - the date varies by center

I filed 485 last july and want to file EAD now. I had FP done last year. If I do efiling for EAD will I have to go to ASC for photos. I saw in other posts that they have linked Biometrics but what abt the photos ?

Now, if I want to switch to a new employer, I want to know if there are any complications...I read that we can always switch to new employer and can still retain the priority dates. Is it true? What is NOID? Is it possible for the old employer to revoke my I-485? or can they do anything that affects my Green Card status or the legal status in the country?

Hello,
I am on H1 B and wife is on H4. H1B is expiring in Nov 2009 and my employer is going to file for extn. My wife is currently doing her Masters on H4. Need some advise to here
1) If I apply for extn (H1 & H4) within next 2 weeks it will take atleast another 3 months before I will come to know the decision. Nowadays lot of H1B extensions are getting rejected. Will it be a good idea to move my wife's status to F1 and not apply for her H4 extn..?
or
2) Should I wait for my decision on extension and if it gets rejected then apply for F1
or
3) Apply both i.e. apply for extension and simultaneously for H4 to F1. Any issues with this approach?
I don't have constraints on paying fees on H4 or F1. All I want is my wife should be able to continue her studies. I am working in an Indian company, so even if my extn gets rejected, I will go back to and continue work, but still want my wife to continue studies.
Appreciate your help.
